In a post shared on his Instagram page, Aremu Afolayan said he regrets not getting involved in internet fraud (commonly referred to as “Yahoo Yahoo”) when it was being discussed.
The movie star said that honest work now seems pointless or unproductive compared to other, less legitimate ways of earning money.
Afolayan is venting his disappointment about the challenges of making money honestly, implying that it often feels unrewarding or futile.
He wrote, “All of d days them dey talk about Yahoo Yahoo, na today I regret am pass say I no do am. Legitimate hustling never felt super useless”.
KanyiDaily recalls that veteran musician, Charly Boy recently disclosed that he was involved in fraudulent activities, specifically scamming banks, even before the notorious 419 or ‘Yahoo Yahoo’ cyberfraud became popular in Nigeria.
