KanyiDaily recalls that Jude Ighalo recently urged Sonia Adesuwa to stop obsessing over him and let go of their past relationship.
The footballer urged his ex-wife to rest and find peace, stressing that he is too busy with his own life to be concerned about her.
Sonia Adesuwa swiftly addressed Ighalo’s remarks, suggesting his frustration stemmed from her not showing up for a trip.
Taking to her Instagram story, she wrote, “My guy I won’t reply to all the gibberish you posted. I know you are still hurt because I wasted your flight tickets (For not showing up). I am sorry. Wowo.”
In another lengthy post, Sonia apologized for any pain she may have caused Ighalo and reflected on their relationship.
The mother of three revealed that despite their divorce, they tried to maintain a good relationship for the sake of their children.
She acknowledged Ighalo’s struggle to keep their issues private and expressed her understanding of the emotional toll their separation had taken on him.
She emphasized the importance of forgiveness and moving forward, wishing for grace and strength to co-parent harmoniously.
Sonia Adesuwa also expressed gratitude for their journey together and wished Ighalo the best for the future.
She wrote, “Many individuals assert that I possess a powerful, mysterious allure, which is why I am particularly cautious about the people 1 allow into my life. Ending a relationship or friendship is always challenging for me. My beloved super star, we’ve journeyed far together, and I’m truly grateful for the grace God has bestowed upon our lives.
“We both struggled to make this work, even in the face of divorce. I understand how careful you were to keep your family in the dark about what was happening behind closed doors, knowing that it would start another fight. I know how hard you fou dispot fall preather to your understand the emotional pain you’re experiencing due to your separation from your beloved family (John 10:10), despite your efforts to portray a false sense of happiness on Instagram to appease them. You are a wonderful man, and I will always be there for you physically and spiritually.
“I am using this opportunity to express my sincere apologies for the negative impact my posts may have had on you. Given the nature of your job, peace is essential for you, and because of your purity, I bear no resentment towards you. I believe the greatest blessing for a child is to be born to a loving mother (not evil).
“We’ve both forgiven each other and realised our mistakes. If I could wish anything at this moment, it would be for divine grace and strength from God to help us coparent harmoniously and ensure our children feel a sense of pride in us. I wish you all the best.”
