Naira Marley Dragged For Allegedly Mocking Late Mohbad In Zinoleesky’s New Song

Nigerian rapper, Naira Marley is facing backlash for allegedly mocking the late singer, Mohbad in his recently song with fellow artist, Zinoleesky.

Dury the first anniversary of Mohbad’s death, Naira Marley’s lyrics in the new song “Abanikanda” began circulating on social media, drawing widespread outrage.

One of the most controversial lines in the song says, “Leave that opp boy in a casket,” while another references Naira Marley’s controversial associate, Sam Larry.

Naira Marley referred to the late singer as ‘oppo’—a slang for opposition or enemy—to be left in a casket.

Naira Marley and Sam Larry have previously been accused by many Nigerians of playing a role in Mohbad’s death, leading to calls for a boycott of Marlian Music.

Following the viral screenshots of Naira Marley’s lyrics, fans of the late Mohbad condemned the rapper for his insensitivity and continued harassment of his former signee, even in death.

KanyiDaily recalls that Naira Marley recently questioned those who cursed him over the death of Mohbad.
