During a recent episode of the ‘Kids Take Over’ podcast, Rema said the craziest claim he’s come across was people accusing him of being a “devil worshiper.”
When asked, “What’s the most crazy, untrue thing that you’ve seen online about you?”
Rema responded, laughing, “They say worship the devil [laughs]. It’s crazy. I didn’t respond to it because it is not important. It’s a waste of time.”
The singer clarified that the symbols he uses in his art are tied to Edo culture, not anything satanic.
Rema also talked about collaborating with Canadian star Drake in 2020 for the song ‘Mention Me,’ which ended up getting leaked.
He expressed excitement about working with Drake saying “I’m happy to work with a legend like Drake.
“I feel like we are going to make a very huge song if we take our time to build something very strong.”
KanyiDaily recalls that BBNaija star, Gifty Powers accused Rema of selling his soul to the devel and promoting satanism.
