In a social media post, Speed Darlington’s lawyer advised him to steer clear of unnecessary conflicts, warning that boasting about having a lawyer isn’t a solution.
The lawyer emphasizes that legal representation has its limits because lawyers can only help to a certain extent, and after that, you’re on your own.
The lawyer also points out that acting aggressively may work until you face someone who is prepared to confront you.
He revealed that some disputes can be life-altering, potentially leading to serious consequences, such as losing everything in a drawn-out court case.
“As your lawyer I will advise you to try as much as you can to avoid troubles, it isn’t worth it; all these “I will call my lawyer” bragging is nothing. Lawyers can only do their best & leave you alone.
“All these “gra gra” that some of you are doing is because you haven’t jammed with someone who has your time & is ready to deal with you.
“Some trouble will humble you for life. I have seen people lose everything fighting a court case,” the lawyer wrote.
This comes just days after Speed Darlington was released from police custody following his claims about Afrobeats star, Burna Boy.
