DDG shared the news on Thursday, October 3, through his Instagram page, stating that the decision to part ways was mutual.
“Dear friends and supporters, after much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” he wrote on his Instagram stories.
He reassured fans that although they are no longer together, their bond remains strong, with both focused on co-parenting and supporting each other in their personal goals.
The rapper also expressed that, while they are moving forward individually, they cherish the time they’ve spent together and are committed to raising their son, Halo.
“Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other,” he added.
“As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we’ve shared.”
