We Kept Bobrisky In ‘Privilege Cell’ Because He Has Male And Female Organs – NCoS

The Nigerian Correctional Services (NCoS) has revealed why crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, was placed in a “privilege cell” during his time at Kirikiri Prison.

The NCoS Deputy Comptroller, Emby Anukwara said the decision was made after Bobrisky was examined and found to have both male and female sex organs.

Anukwara shared this information while speaking to members of a House of Representatives investigative committee that was visiting the correctional facility as part of their inquiry into allegations against Bobrisky.

Bobrisky had been sentenced by a Lagos court to six months in prison for naira mutilation.

However, a leaked audio recording from social media figure Martins Ortse, known as VeryDarkMan, suggested that Bobrisky did not actually serve his time in Kirikiri Prison as ordered.

In the recording, Bobrisky claimed he spent his jail term in a lodge due to the influence of his “godfather.”

An investigative panel has stated there is no evidence to support the claim that Bobrisky stayed outside the prison during his six-month sentence.

While addressing the committee, Anukwara explained: “I am Emby Anukwara, Deputy Comptroller of Corrections and officer in charge of Medium when Bobrisky was brought in here.

“On April 12, 2024, Bobrisky was brought here at about 10:30 pm and at about that time, we could not do the necessary documentation.

“So knowing his history as to if he’s a male or female, we decided to take a proactive action; so I directed that he should be given a single cell in the privilege ward – privilege cell.

“He was taken to P-ward room 2 where we are. The next day when we did the admission, he was taken to medicals where the doctor and matron examined him and said he had a male and female organ.”

Meanwhile, Bobrisky is currently being held at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos, where he spent the night in a police cell.
