In a tweet, Skales expressed his wish that Nigerian pastors would focus on preaching the true teachings of the Bible, which emphasize that healing, prosperity, and blessings come from loving and obeying God.
He criticized the current trend of sermons that focus on “money doubling” and entertainment-like tricks.
Skales called for a return to the core principles of Christianity and asked for God’s mercy on everyone.
He wrote, ‘’I wish pastors especially Nigerian pastors will teach that all healings, prosperity etc will come from just loving God and loving God is obeying his commandments simple it’s in the Bible instead of all this money doubling sermons and film tricks… May God continue to have mercy on us all !!!”
