The video, posted ahead of Trump’s recent win, shows participants wearing vests and holding flags with Trump’s name and campaign slogans, sparking reactions across social media.
Like many Nigerians online, VeryDarkMan was stunned by the display.
Sharing the clip on his Instagram page, the activist criticized Northern youth for focusing on a foreign leader while remaining silent on urgent issues at home, including the recent arrest of young boys in the region.
Describing the video as a “misplaced priority,” he sarcastically suggested that they might as well rely on Donal Trump for help with local problems, given their enthusiasm for his victory.
Sharing the video, VeryDarkMan wrote, “Look at these mumu.”
