Nigerian music star Asake has secured a nomination for the 2025 Brit Awards in the International Artist of the Year category.

This is Asake’s second nomination at the prestigious event, following his 2024 nod in the Best International Act category.
Asake’s impressive run in 2024 was driven by the release of his third album, *Lungu Boy,* which featured collaborations with Wizkid, Stormzy, Central Cee, and Ludmila.
He stands as the sole Nigerian nominee this year, competing against global icons like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, and Benson Boone.
The 2025 Brit Awards, hosted by Jack Whitehall, will take place on March 1 at London’s O2 Arena.
