“I Won’t Die Until I Father 32 Children” — Isoko Fela Says As He Marries Three Women Same Day [Video]

Dr. Arube Otor, a prominent Isoko highlife musician famously known as “Isoko Fela,” has revealed his ambitious goal of fathering 32 children before the end of his life.

At 53 years old and already a father to nine children, Isoko Fela expanded his family further by marrying three wives in a lavish ceremony held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, in Uzere, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.

The event took place at the Anglican Church Field London Base in Uzere Kingdom, where Arube Otor expressed his determination.

Speaking at the weeding ceremony, he said: “I want to have 32 children, and until I realise that dream, I won’t leave this earth.”

Coming from a polygamous family, Arube Otor shared that his upbringing influenced his decision to embrace the lifestyle.

He cited the harmonious relationship he shared with his father’s four wives while growing up, saying “Polygamy was never a problem in our home. We bonded well and still maintain a healthy relationship.”

Isoko Fela explained that his decision to host a single reception for his three new wives was a practical move to save costs.

“I’ve already paid their bride prices, and we’ve been living together. The event is just a reception.

“Members of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria will provide music, and logistics for refreshments are finalised. It will be a big day,” he added.

The musician also revealed plans to marry two more women in the future and emphasized that his wives live harmoniously.

He said, “If there’s a dispute, I meditate in the presence of the others so everyone learns from the resolution. My wives are independent; one is a hairdresser, another a caterer, and one a trader.”

Despite his age, Arube Otor said he is confident in fulfilling his marital responsibilities, which he credits to his natural diet.

“I don’t eat rice because it weakens a man. My diet keeps me fit and ready. I visit my wives weekly, and none of them feels neglected,” he added.
