Mohbad, who died on September 24, 2023, left a lasting impact on Nigeria’s music industry.
However, the exact details surrounding his death remain unclear, with ongoing investigations and court hearings exploring various claims, including reports of a physical altercation.
Speaking in an interview with TVC on February 21, 2025, Wunmi addressed the accusations, stating that while no relationship is perfect, she and Mohbad never engaged in any physical fights.
She explained that, like any couple, they had their disagreements, but whenever issues arose, she would inform her father-in-law.
Wunmi also suggested that Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba is now using this against her in their ongoing dispute.
“We are young couples and no relationship is perfect. I’m dating an artist, which is a lot,” she said.
KanyiDaily recalls that Wunmi Aloba also responded to accusations from her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, who claimed she was unfaithful while Mohbad was alive.
