Justice Azuka, who represented Onitsha North Constituency 1 in the Anambra State House of Assembly, was abducted on December 24, 2024, along Ugwunabankpa Road in Inland Town, Onitsha.
Following weeks of investigation, security forces from Abuja arrested the suspects late Wednesday.
During interrogation, the suspects led authorities to the location where they had abandoned the lawmaker’s remains.
The Anambra State Police Command confirmed the discovery but stated that details surrounding the incident remain unclear.
Police spokesperson Tochukwu Ikenga assured that officers had been dispatched to the scene and that more information would be released soon.
