Speaking during an interview on TVC on February 21, Wunmi addressed Joseph Aloba’s previous statements.
He had appeared on the same platform earlier, where he insisted on a DNA test for his grandchild, Liam.
When asked why he was making such a demand, Mohbad’s father claimed his late son had doubts about the child’s paternity because Wunmi allegedly cheated on him.
Reacting to these allegations, Wunmi stated: “Legally he doesn’t have the right (to ask for a DNA) but because I don’t have anything to hide, him asking me for the DNA is not the issue but it is just the way he is asking me.
“First when this DNA thing came out, I called him and he wasn’t talking about it and he was talking about something different entirely. I saw him granting interviews and talking about DNA. At first he said because Nigerians wanted it.
“Later he moved to say my husband’s friend told him that he(Mohbad) only had s3x with me once and that why will I tell him that I am pregnant because having s3x once cannot lead to pregnancy.”
Wunmi expressed shock over the situation, pointing out that Joseph Aloba was once supportive of her marriage to Mohbad and even encouraged them to start a family.
Mohbad’s wife revealed that he took her to various prayer houses and even gave her substances to drink in an effort to help her conceive.
She clarified that she isn’t against a DNA test but wants to be the one to conduct it on her own terms.
According to Wunmi, her father-in-law wants the test to be the final say in everything, and she refuses to accept that.
KanyiDaily recalls that Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi accused her late husband’s former boss, Naira Marley, and his associates of attacking her.
