Portable Finally Surrenders To Police After Being Declared Wanted

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Olalomi, better known as Portable, has finally surrendered to the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), just 48 hours after being declared wanted.

Portable, who previously dismissed the police declaration by calling himself a “mad man”, surrendered to the Lagos State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID) on Wednesday morning.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed that Portable turned himself in at SCID, and arrangements were made for the Ogun State Police Command to take custody of him.

Portable just turned himself in at the SCID, Yaba. We have contacted the Ogun State Police Command to come and pick him up,” Hundeyin confirmed.

Later that day, Portable arrived at the Ogun State Police Command at exactly 1:23 PM on February 19, 2025.

The command’s spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, confirmed his arrival in a statement, noting that the singer reached the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Abeokuta.

She explained that his surrender was linked to an ongoing investigation and assured the public that due process would be followed.

The Ogun State Police Command wishes to inform the public that Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, arrived at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Eleweran, Abeokuta, at exactly 13:23 hours today, February 19, 2025.
