“Help Me Beg My Father-In-Law To Bury My Husband” – Mohbad’s Wife, Wunmi Pleads

Wunmi Aloba, the wife of late singer Mohbad, has urged her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, to allow her husband to be laid to rest so he can finally have peace.

Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, and was initially buried. However, his body was later exhumed for investigation, and it has remained in the mortuary ever since.

Joseph Aloba has insisted that his son cannot be buried again until a DNA test confirms the paternity of Mohbad’s son, Liam.

Taking to Instagram on March 12, Wunmi expressed her frustration over the prolonged delay, stating that it has been 18 months since her husband’s death, yet he remains unburied.

Mohbad’s wife accused her father-in-law of keeping the body in the morgue not out of love or grief, but for personal gain.

She alleged that Joseph Aloba is deliberately stalling the DNA test he previously demanded, not because he seeks the truth, but because he benefits from the ongoing controversy.

According to her, as long as discussions about Mohbad’s death continue, the financial support and attention he receives from the public will not stop.

Wunmi also claimed that several individuals on social media have sided with her father-in-law, using her husband’s death as a means to gain followers and financial profit.

She accused them of spreading false narratives about her while benefiting from the tragedy, even going as far as paying Joseph Aloba a monthly stipend from their online earnings.

She pleaded once again for Mohbad’s body to be given a proper burial, stating that the investigations are complete and there is no reason for further delays.
