Her emotional appeal came after Ifeluv announced on Tuesday that she was walking away from her relationship with Oluwadolarz accusing him of infidelity and financial irresponsibility.
Ifelov claimed she had been covering most of their child’s expenses while Oluwadolarz lived a fake lifestyle.
She also alleged that she once caught an actress named Lola hiding in his bathroom, though he denied any wrongdoing.
During an Instagram Live session on Tuesday night, Mummy Dolarz revealed the lengths she had gone to in an effort to save their relationship.
She admitted that she had knelt before Ifeluv multiple times—an act considered taboo in Yoruba culture – just to prevent the breakup.
“I’ve knelt down for you many times because of my son’s misdeeds, which is forbidden in Yoruba land,” she said.
“But I did it because I don’t want your marriage with my son to end in divorce. Is it that I am a fool?”
Oluwadolarz’s mother also addressed the backlash she has faced online, saying many people had insulted her and blamed her for her son’s behavior.
“God knows everything that happened has saddened my heart. I have read a lot of messages today, and many people have insulted me, saying I didn’t raise my child well. No problem.
“Those who say I didn’t train him well, do they know how to train their own children?” she asked.
Mummy Dolarz also had a message for those leaving negative comments about the situation.
“All parents on this live will reap the fruit of their labour. But if we see anyone dropping bad comments in the comment section or saying, Don’t accept, they should check their own lives first. What some people are hiding in their personal lives is deep,” she said.
Oluwadolarz’s mother insisted that she had done her best to intervene, confronting her son multiple times about his behavior.
She emphasized that Ife Luv had known about her son’s flaws for a long time and reiterated that she had always stood by her.
“I have explained the different things that happened to me. Leave those attacking me, let them say anything. No one made me to be receiving these insults other than my son.
“I have always said this, no matter when my son started his behaviour, you knew about it too. I am always behind you. I have fought my son because of you,” she added.
Her emotional plea has sparked mixed reactions online, with many weighing in on the drama.
