WAEC Releases 2025 Computer-Based WASSCE Results For Private Candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the release of the 2025 Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results for private candidates.

In a post on its official X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday, WAEC stated:

“The results of the Computer-based West African Senior School Certificate Examination for Private Candidates, 2025-First Series have been released.”

Despite the announcement, some candidates have reported difficulties in checking their results.

One user, Ephrata, expressed frustration, saying: “I checked mine now they’re saying my card has been used by another candidate. And this my first time of using it. Why is that? I bought scratch card same thing. Please I want you to reply me and tell me what wrong with it, so I can make the next steps.”

Another user, endowedToBad said: “My student has not been able to check Nov/Dec 2024 result till now.”

Similarly, “Bigname” complained about access issues, stating: “Good morning, please I’m trying to re download my photo card so as to check my result pin but it’s saying that registration is not allowed this period.”

Meanwhile, another user, Trillions shared a screenshot showing an error message received while attempting to check results online.

WAEC has yet to respond to these complaints.
