Jerry John Rawlings the former president of Ghana has died at the age of 73.
Jerry died today in Accra the capital of Ghana while undergoing medical treatment at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

Rawlings mother Madam Victoria Agbotui died and was buried last month at the age of 101.
Rawlings was a former military leader in 1979 who became a politician and ruled Ghana from 1981 to 2001.
