“551 In Lagos, 209 In Abuja” – Nigeria Records 1301 New COVID-19 Cases As Total Hits 113,305
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 1,301 cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infection in the country to 113,305.
The NCDC made this known on Tuesday night via its official Twitter handle where it disclosed that the new cases were recorded in 22 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
“On the 19th of January 2021, 1301 new confirmed cases and 15 deaths were recorded in Nigeria,” the NCDC said.
“The 1301 new cases are reported from 22 states- Lagos (551), FCT (209), Oyo (83), Plateau (65), Kaduna (64), Enugu (61), Rivers (44), Ondo (39), Benue (37), Akwa Ibom (31), Kano (19), Delta (18), Gombe (18), Ogun (16), Edo (15), Kebbi (10), Ebonyi (9), Jigawa (4), Osun (3), Zamfara (3), Borno (1) and Nasarawa (1)
“Till date, 113305 cases have been confirmed, 91200 cases have been discharged and 1464 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.”
