No fewer than 100 private jets conveying prominent Nigerian leaders landed at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport for the wedding of Yusuf Buhari, the only son of President Muhammadu Buhari.

KanyiDaily had earlier reported how Yusuf Buhari tied the knot with Princess Zahra Bayero, daughter of Emir of Bichi in Kano State, Nasir Ado Bayero.

The couple were pronounced husband and wife at the Palace of the Emir of Bichi in Kano State where their wedding Fatiha took place on Friday, August 20.

According to SaharaReporters, over 100 private jets touched down on Friday at Kano Airport owned by politicians and other affluent people attending the wedding.

A resident said the dignitaries also displayed wealth frontally by booking all prominent hotels in the state, adding that there is traffic congestion everywhere during Buhari’s son’s wedding.

“As we speak, there are more than 100 private jets at the Kano airport. You can hardly find a flight to Kano from anywhere since Wednesday.

“All the five-star hotels in this state have been booked. Kano is currently choked up. There is traffic congestion everywhere for Buhari’s son’s wedding,” the resident said.
