KanyiDaily recalls that Tinubu had left Nigeria for London weeks after announcing his intention to contest for the presidency in the 2023 general election.
A statement issued by his media aide, Tunde Rahman, had said Tinubu traveled to London for meetings and consultations, and that he will return to Nigeria next week.
Days after traveling to London, the UK chapter of the ruling APC paid a visit to Tinubu who described his bid to vie for the presidency as a “lifelong ambition”.
