This news comes up amid the lingering strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU. Nigerian students have been at home for 8 months pending when the strike will be called off.
The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) yesterday staged a protest at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, to protest against the prolonged strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
Nigerians on social media reacted to the news by sharing their thoughts. Find some of them below:
What of Nigeria University students whom will congratulate them?
Cheta Percy Oduah – Assholes!
Engr Henry Ikenna Udogadi – U have the nerve to even rub it on your citizen face let posterity judge u people. It will never be better for you people that made this country like this and your generation. God forbid BAT Thing.
Habeebu Umar Barde – ASUU Are on strike, Nigerian students are sitting at home for over 7 seven months, And your children are graduating from overseas, Anyway Congratulations 🎊🎉 babu hassada.
Patience Nnedinsọ Eze – Congratulations to her but, you should not have shared this on social media… It is insensitive to the plight of many Nigerians who are at home and whose children are currently not in school because of ASUU Strike.
Kelechi Okoro – But the children of Mr Emeka Opeyemi Ahmed have been home for how long again because of ASUU strike. Please rub it in our faces. We are your powder.
Frankline Madichie – Your husband has achieved everything failure can offer, name them… The name Buhari will forever be remembered as the worst thing that happened to Nigeria. After destroying Nigerian universities with his leadership incompetence, you sent your children to foreign schools and posting their graduation on social media to mock other peoples children who as a result of ASUU have spent over seven months at home and still counting without lectures, on the day the airport was shut down by the youths for the same reasons. Where is ur conscience? Continue celebrating your daughter’s graduation abroad, nemesis will soon catch up with all of you.
Chiemeka Akwarandu – Insensitive personified, Wickedness Engraved Boldly.
Akata Victor – Congratulations to Zahra While Nigerian Students are wasting away for Six months and counting. I wish, for a second, that our leaders were humane and considerate sometimes.
I wish, really!
Dimbo Atiya – This is insensitive because there are millions of other children at home because of your husband’s incompetence. Let’s call a spade a spade.
Ekerette-Alvin Ikpe – Sad reality… Nigerian students have been at home for over 7 months now. These people don’t care!!!
Safiyanu Danladi Mairiga – The person managing this page isn’t smart.
Amb Dion Osagietv – E no go better for una.
Nigerians students are on strike. Your children are graduating from Abroad schools.
Arc Abubakar Rabiu Abubakar – Wrong timing for this posting
Fadima Ibrahim – Am thoroughly disappointed in you posting this, after knowing full well our students have been at home for months due to your husband’s in competence and nonchalance.
Benjoe Katangwat – How do you people feel seeing other children stucked at home with schools closed but still come publicly to show us how your children are graduating elsewhere? Anyway, congratulations to her
Mathias Tsado D’Young Statesman – But must she make this post? Why are these people so insensitive, or is this a direct mockery of the poor Nigerians who have to school in our universities that has be shutdown for almost a year now?
And congratulations!
