Festus Keyamo, a spokesman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, has addressed reports that the party’s flagbearer, Bola Tinubu was denied a visa by the United States Embassy.
Keyamo Shares Tinubu’s US Visa Amid Rumours
Last week, the APC presidential campaign council said Tinubu would embark on foreign trips from December 4 to meet global leaders and pitch his presidential aspiration.
But the campaign council recently rescheduled the foreign trip sparking rumors that Tinubu was denied entry into the US based on some allegations leveled against him.
Reacting on his Twitter page on Saturday, Keyamo shared a photo of Tinubu’s American visa, stressing that the rumour was the handiwork of mischief makers.
He wrote: “For mischief-makers who peddle unfounded rumours about @officialABAT being denied a visa to the US, you leave us with no option but to show you his current visa (that has always been renewed since time immemorial). This is for the misguided ones who believe these rumours.”
