The Lagos State Police Command has declared an Ogboni leader, Tajudeen Olanrewaju Bakare wanted.

Spokesman of the command, Benjamin Hindeyin disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday and posted on the Twitter handle of the command.
Hundeyin said Tajudeen Olanrewaju Bakare was linked to the deadly clash in Surulere.
Reports say, supporters of the two major political parties, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) clashed during the visit of PDP governorship candidate Abdulazeez Adeniran popularly known as Jandor.
During the clash, there was an open use of firearms and other weapons, which according to reports, left two persons dead.
According to Hundeyin, the command acted on the emergence of a video showing a man wielding a pump action rifle and threatening public peace.
He said the CSP Egbeyemi-led Rapid Response Squad (RRS), working on actionable intelligence, carried out a sting operation on the residence of Tajudeen Olanrewaju Bakare in the Surulere area of the state.
“Found in the suspect’s residence were three pump action rifles, one Beretta pistol magazine, one expended 9mm ammunition, one expended and three live cartridges, and a picture frame of the suspect,” the statement reads.
“The suspect, Tajudeen Olanrewaju Bakare, narrowly escaped arrest and is hereby declared wanted.
“Any useful information leading to his arrest would be highly appreciated and treated with the utmost confidentiality.”
