Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has revealed why he would not fight his colleagues over their choice of candidate in the 2023 general election.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, the movie star revealed that the presidential candidates of the three major parties are his friends and they have a lot of respect for each other.
Edochie added that the candidates in question are billionaires whose families are well-secured no matter the outcome of the presidential election.
Noting that election is not war, the movie star wondered why anyone would expect him to fight his colleagues over their choice because it doesn’t make sense.
He wrote, “The Presidential candidates of the 3 major parties are all friends. They have a lot of respect for each other. They’re Billionaires whose families are well secured no matter the outcome of the election. They are not fighting each other. So why should I be fighting my colleague over his choice of who to vote for? Doesn’t make any sense. Election is not war”.
KanyiDaily recalls that Yul Edochie had recently come under fire over his new movie where he mimicked the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
