Nigeria’s president-elect, Bola Tinubu, and current Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu have been captured in a second viral video in which they were said to be visiting former President of Guinea Conakry, Alpha Conde when the latter was still in power.
Kanyi Daily had reported that Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu were spotted in the first viral video seated in a helicopter, said to be a Guinea chopper.
It is, however, not clear when the two videos were taken or what the reason/ circumstances surrounding the event and visit were.
In the second video, Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu were seen in the chopper landing in an environment that appeared to be a very important government residence, likely the presidential palace.
This comes a few days after one of Nigeria’s finest investigative journalists, David Hindeyin, revealed that Tinubu has dual citizenship and released a passport of Tinubu said to be a Guinean passport.
According to the passport, Tinubu holds a Guinean passport which is contrary to the provisions of Nigeria’s constitution.
Section 137 (1) (a) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria provides “A person shall not be qualified for election to the office of President if subject to the provisions of Section 28 of this Constitution, he has voluntarily acquired the citizenship of a country other than Nigeria or, except in such cases as may be prescribed by the National Assembly, he has made a declaration of allegiance to such other country.”
According to the passport, the former Lagos State Governor acquired the passport of Guinea Republic in 2015.
A Twitter user simply by the name, of Uche P Okoye, who shared the second video of Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu on Thursday morning, said suspected international cocaine trafficker and Malian political fixer, Ousmane Yara, Sanwolu, and Bola Ahmed Tinubu visited Alpha Conde at the presidential palace.
He wrote, “Ousmane Yara, Sanwolu, and Bola Ahmed Tinubu visited Alpha Conde at the Government House”
According to him, Guinea is a known drug route country.
“This country is a known drug route?”.

Tinubu has been linked with hard drugs in the past.
Recently, the All Progressives Congress (APC) admitted Tinubu, indeed forfeited the sum of $460,000 to the government of the United States of America, USA, in 1993 following a drug trafficking allegation.
It, however, refuted the claim that Tinubu was convicted by the US as a result of the forfeiture.
