Judy Austin Attacked For Consoling Husband, Yul Edochie Over His Son’s Death
Nollywood actress, Judy Austin has come under fire on social media after she consoled her husband, Yul Edochie over the death of his 16-year-old first son, Kambilichukwu.
KanyiDaily recalls that on March 29, Kambilichukwu collapsed while playing football with his friends in school, and was rushed to Mother and Child Hospital in Lagos, where he was confirmed dead.
Weeks after his son’s death, Yul Edochie raised eyebrows after he deleted all the Instagram posts of his second wife, Judy Austin, and their son before he deleting every other posts on his page hours later.
This comes after a media personality, Daddy Freeze revealed that a popular Nigerian celebrity recently discovered that he is not the biological father of his son.
Amidst the reactions trailing the revelation, a journalist Kemi Olunloyo confirmed that Yul Edochie conducted a DNA test and discovered that he is not the biological father of Judy Austin’s son, Star Dike.
Yul Edochie recently took to his Instagram page to express his gratitude to all those who sent in condolence messages over his son’s death, noting that the love and concern for his family in this difficult time have been overwhelming.
After Edochie’s post, Judy Austin took to her Instagram page to praise and console her husband who she described as a great man, encouraging him to remain strong.
She wrote. “Ezedike you’re a Great man. And Great men face great challenges. Your life is in God’s hands. Trust that he will lead you always. Remain strong.”
Reacting in the comment section, the actor appreciated her for the kind words while acknowledging her as his partner. He wrote: “Amen! Thank you, Ijele Odogwu.”
Judy Austin’s post triggered outrage on social media, while some Nigerians slammed her over the consolation message, others suggested that she was trying to gain attention and play a good wife.
KanyiDaily recalls that Yul Edochie reacted publicly to Kambili’s death for the first time on April 27, saying his son made his mark in the world in just 16 years.
