Nollywood actress, Anita Joseph is facing backlash for sharing a video of herself praying and claiming that prayer is the secret to her happy marriage.
Sharing a video of them praying in their house via Instagram page, Anita Joseph said one of the secrets to their happy home is prayer, stressing that her action is a way of encouraging couples to pray ceaselessly.
The actress has been criticized for acting like a marriage counselor and promoting her personal beliefs as a universal solution. Some have accused her of attention-seeking and using her marriage to gain popularity.
Despite the criticism trailing the video, Anita Joseph defended her actions and stated that if people can go to parties to post, she can also post her prayer video.
Sharing the video, she said, “One of our secrets to our happy Home. We pray. When you pray with your Husband. See how your home Transforms Shalom.
“If you can go to party and post it, we can also pray and post it. If you don’t like it Revive Holy Ghost knock. I’ve done my part Siddon there dey wail”.
