Hundeyin’s comment comes a day after Peter pleaded with the police force to temper justice with mercy on his colleague Seun Kuti following the latter’s altercation with a policeman last Saturday.

Kuti was seen in a viral video, pushing and also slapping a policeman on the Third mainland bridge in Lagos State.

The singer, who is the youngest child of Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti while assaulting the officer was heard saying, “You dey crase, you dey mad?”, but the cop kept his cool throughout the whole confrontation.

Peter in a now-deleted tweet on his handle, said it was an unfortunate incident, but added, however, that Seun’s action may have been triggered, going by reports which suggest his family may have been in danger hence the altercation.

Taking to his official Twitter handle on Monday, Benjamin Hundeyin praised the Okoyes brother for deleting all his tweets that give tacit support for assault on police officers, stating it is “way to go.”
