The billionaire founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos has reportedly recommenced the construction of his $175 million mansion shortly after his engagement to his partner, Lauren Sanchez.
According to a recent report by the Daily Mail on May 25, workers were seen constructing the roof of the expansive three-story mega-mansion, located in the prestigious neighborhood of Beverly Hills, California.
Bezos, who has a colossal net worth of $138 billion, acquired this lavish 10-acre property in early 2020, which had previously belonged to the esteemed former president of Warner Bros., Jack Warner.
Spanning across 28,000 square feet, the $175 million comprises the main home, a guesthouse, a gym, a pergola, and even a separate house designated for security personnel.
Following his recent engagement with Lauren Sánchez, the billionaire intends to expand the estate further by constructing a new pool house, a powder room, and retaining walls.
The couple’s engagement took place aboard Bezos’s magnificent $500 million yacht while they were attending the illustrious 2023 Cannes Film Festival in the exquisite South of France.
It was gathered that Jeff Bezos proposed to Lauren Sanchez with an awe-inspiring 20-carat ring, estimated to carry a price tag of $2.5 million.
