The University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) has produced many stars especially in the Nollywood film industry where she has over 10 professional actors in the field.
The school is located in the Eastern part of Nigeria in a place called Nsukka in Enugu State. For the scope of this article, we will be looking at Nigerian film stars who studied at the University of Nigeria(UNN).
Junior Pope
Junior Pope was brought up in Bamenda, Cameroon by Mr and Mrs Luke Odonwodo, yet he is originally from Ukehe, Nsukka in Enugu State.
Junior Pope had his nursery and primary instruction in Cameroon. He later migrated to Nigeria and went to the Federal Government College Okigwe in Imo State for his Secondary training. Junior Pope had his tertiary training at the University of Nigeria (Enugu Campus). He later graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at University of Nigeria UNN.
Junior Pope is married to his sweetheart, Jennifer Awele Okpuno, an occasion decorator and a brand influencer. At some point around 2010, Junior Pope met his better half on Facebook and was drawn to her in spite of not seeing her in real life.
The couple got engaged on September 22, 2013, after Junior Pope proposed to her in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State. Junior Pope and his wife got wedded on July 26, 2014. Kenneth Okonkwo
Kenneth Okonkwo was brought into the world on 6th of November, 1968. In spite of the fact that he is normally from Nsukka, Enugu State Kenneth experienced childhood in Lagos state, Nigeria.

In 2001, he featured in his first film, “Fringe,” #themovie. Presently, Nonso rose to fame because of his exceptional presentation and giving life to film scripts.
Afterward, Nonso Diobi established Goldentape media; a recording and TV creation organization in Africa. This was after he became famous in acting.
Zack Orji
Zachee Ama Orji, brought into the world in Libreville, Gabon, in 1960, is a Nigerian entertainer, chief, filmmaker and producer.
Orji is an alumnus of University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Having experienced childhood in Cameroon, Benin and Togo he talks both English and French smoothly. His first film was in 1991, and was entitled Unforgiven Sin. In a meeting with Nollywood Post, Orji shared how he got the lead job in the film without auditioning.Since then, Orji has featured in various motion pictures and is currently a Nollywood legend.
He is married to Ngozi Orji and has three youngsters and lives in Nigeria.
Brown Ifeanyi
Brown Ifeanyi “Browny” Igboegwu (30 August 1976 in Ozubulu, Anambra State) is an Igbo-Nigerian entertainer. His vocation in “Nollywood” started in 2005.
Igboegwu had his auxiliary school education at the All Hallow Seminary Onitsha. He proceeded to move on from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka with a degree in policy management and international relations.
2005, he visited his companion, chief Oke Ozubeluoko, on the arrangement of a film, and saw that a specific entertainer was committing a few errors. Igboegwu remarked that he “could do better in any event, when [he] had no experience as an entertainer”; Ozubeluoko gave him the job, and was intrigued by his capability in acting.
Starting at 2015, Igboegwu has included in over of eighty motion pictures, from his first film, Expensive Error with Hanks Anuku, where he played as a cultist. Igboegwu is maybe most popular for his part in the 2005 film Marry Me, with Nonso Diobi and Oge Okoye, among others.
Igboegwu was named the twelfth chairman of the Anambra state section of the Actors Guild of Nigeria in late February 2015, and on 9 March, he was made the leader of National Secretary, Conference of Chairmen, Actors Guild of Nigeria.
