Isreal DMW, the logistics manager for Nigerian musician Davido, has offered N100,000 to a now-famous cyclist, Emmiwuks.
KanyiDaily recalls that Emmiwuks, whose real name is Emmanuel Myam, had gone viral on social media after he revealed that he was riding on a bicycle from Benue state to Lagos just to meet Davido.
In the photos on his Twitter page, Emmiwuks was seen displaying a banner featuring the emblem of the DMW boss, and his bicycle was adorned with a message that boldly stated, ‘Benue to Lagos on a bicycle for Davido.’
When the cyclist revealed that he had already spent eight days on the road in his quest to meet Davido in Lagos, the singer advised him to turn around and go home because he was not available in the country at the moment.
Despite the heartfelt plea from Davido, Emmiwuks remained resolute and unyielding in his commitment to his adventure, insisting that he’s not going back to Benue.
The man, who shared a photo of his current location via his Twitter page, said he was already heading to Ogun from Benin, revealing that he wants to present a gift to Davido in Lagos.
Reacting to the development, Isreal DMW confirmed that Davido was presently not in Lagos and proposed an alternative plan.
He suggested that the cyclist journey to Benin instead, this time offering a substantial sum of N100,000 as a gesture of appreciation.
Davido’s aide wrote, “Oga no dey Nigeria. Branch Benin, make I just do 100k for you. Na dat one my power reach. Thanks for the love.”
Meanwhile, Davido has also asked Emmiwuks to provide his bank account details and head back home, stressing that he would meet the cyclist upon his return to Nigeria.
