Six persons have been killed by Russian shelling in the southern Ukrainian region of Kherson.
The six victims who were killed on Sunday included an infant, according to Interior Minister Igor Klymenko who disclosed this on messaging app Telegram.
“Russia killed six people in the region of Kherson,” Klymenko said.
In the village of Shyroka Balka three adults and a 23-day-old baby were killed, he said.
In the village of Stanislav, another two people were killed.
According to reports, the attack on Kherson province followed Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar’s comments on Saturday attempting to quell rumours that Ukrainian forces had landed on the occupied left (east) bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region.
Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on Sunday reintegrated forward, Kylian Mbappe into the first-team squad to face Lorient in the league opener.
PSG announced in a statement posted on its website.
