Liverpool’s 25-man Europa League squad unveiled

Adrian has been left out of Liverpool’s 25-man roster for this season’s Europa League.

In Group E, the Reds will face LASK, Union Saint-Gilloise, and Toulouse.

Jurgen Klopp’s men, who are heavy favorites for the trophy, kick off their campaign on Thursday, September 21, away to LASK, and have now submitted their team to UEFA.

Teams are entitled to name 25 List A players, but Liverpool can only list 23 due to a lack of local talent.

The Europa League’s cap of 17 foreign players is one fewer than the Premier League’s, therefore someone has to be left out. Adrian, the third-choice goalkeeper, drew the short straw and was left out, with Vitezslav Jaros chosen alongside Alisson and Caoimhin Kelleher.
