Seun Kuti, a popular Afrobeat singer, has suggested that the Big Brother Naija reality programme should have been created for young people to give solutions to Nigeria’s problems.
Kuti mentioned this during an interview with Gbenga Aborowa on Spade TV Africa on Monday.
Sharing his thoughts on the BBNaija show, the musician suggested that the show’s audience and popularity be better channelled towards effective efforts to help the nation.

“BBNaija is the way it is because it was designed to be that way by certain people.”
“The people that designed it could have decided that it would be a show where young people discuss issues of the country and come up with solutions and viewers can vote on the best solution.
“That means that the youth are going from entertainment to investing in solutions for national development.”
