Nollywood actor, Alexx Ekubo has reflected on the paradoxes of human behavior, expressing how society tends to mourn the deceased while harboring ill feelings toward the living.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Alex Ekubo highlighted the complexities of human relationships in the context of societal attitudes toward success, wealth, and mortality.
The actor said that people cry for the dead, yet keep malice with the living. He pointed out the tendency to envy the successful and avoid those facing financial challenges.
He also emphasized on the conditional nature of people’s love, often reserved for the wealthy, prosperous, or those who have passed away.
“We cry for the dead, yet keep malice with the living. We envy the successful & avoid the broke ones. People only love you if you are rich, doing well, or dead. What an interesting life we live,” he wrote.
KanyiDaily recalls that Alexx Ekubo recently emphasized the paramount importance of family, stating that those with living parents should recognize the blessings they possess.
