Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has indicated that David Raya would start against Sevilla in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Raya put up a poor performance as Arsenal battled to a 2-2 draw at Chelsea last Saturday.
Mykhailo Mudryk scored the Blue’s second goal as a result of the 28-year-old’s poor placement.
Raya has been the subject of continual criticism since joining Arsenal on loan from Brentford, with many perplexed by Arteta’s decision to sign him and choose him over Aaron Ramsdale.
There have been calls for him to be replaced by Ramsdale, whose name was sung by fans at Stamford Bridge.
