Meek Mill, an American rapper, has stated that, despite reports that rap is “dying,” he is still smiling to the bank.
He claims that every song he records earns him at least a million dollars.
“I’m getting a million a song… so that’s $62,500 every bar I speak… They say this rap sh*t dying must be on Billboard because it’s not to Meek!,” he wrote on his Instagram page.

According to reports, Nigerian artist Wizkid recently ignited a dispute when he stated in an interview that “hip-hop is dead.”
His assertion attracted reactions from both local and foreign hip-hop musicians, with South African rapper Nasty C, M.I, Zoro Swagbag, Oladips, and others openly criticising him.
