Singer Esegine Allen, also known as Orezi, has regretted a fire that destroyed his home in Lagos State’s Lekki neighbourhood.
On Tuesday, Orezi posted photographs and video of his burned-out house to his Instagram story.
“Last night was really hectic,” he wrote. I’m still trying to make sense of everything that happened.
“I’m sitting here wondering why me. God is truly merciful. I can’t express how grateful I am to God.

“I was at a meeting in Lekki County last night around 11.48 p.m. when I received a call from my neighbour, Bobrisky, that my house was on fire.” At first, I assumed it was a joke.
“‘Which kind of yeye joke bob Dey give me so?'” I immediately raced.
Kanyidaily recalls that Orezi around June this year broke silence on his impact on Afrobeats music genre and how it has spread everywhere.
