President Bola Tinubu has firmly emphasized his dependence on the support of all Nigerians, regardless of whether they voted for him or not
At the ADS Mosque in Surulere, Lagos State, the President observed and celebrated the centenary inception of the Ansar Ud Deen Society of Nigeria (ADS) on December 21, 1923.
Having acknowledged his commitment to serving the nation upon assuming office, he emphasized the God-given responsibility to diligently serve the people of Nigeria.
“I am grateful to the Ansarudeen for their support during the election. I deeply appreciate it, and it serves as a motivation for us in government to maintain our focus,” Tinubu stated
He reiterated the government’s commitment to fostering a stronger society, regardless of ethnic, religious, or geographical distinctions, highlighting the implementation of policies aimed at addressing and easing citizens’ concerns.
“We are cognizant of their challenges and are working to address them comprehensively. Nigerians are urged to be patient as the benefits of these measures will soon become evident,” Tinubu assured.
Tinubu commended the ADS for achieving a century marked by stability, sustainability, and strategic planning, praising their dedicated efforts as a testament to the success achievable through meticulous societal planning
Sheik Abdulrahman Ahmed, the National Missioner of ADS, emphasized the importance for political office holders to prioritize meeting the needs of the electorate, highlighting the significant expectations placed on leaders by the people.
He also stressed the importance of citizens continuing to respect constitutional authority while praying for their leaders, highlighting the beneficial impact of these prayers on their lives.
