Nollywood actress, Victoria Inyama has revealed the distressing details of her failed marriage with her ex-husband, Godwin Okrim.

During a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, the actress shared how her ex-husband would bring his girlfriends to their matrimonial home to torment her.

Victoria Inyama also disclosed that despite splitting with her ex-husband since 2018, he has continued to threaten her life and even to put her in jail.

The actress recounted enduring physical, mental, and psychological abuse from her ex-husband. She said the first instance of physical abuse left her in shock, unable to believe what had happened.

Despite the hardships, Victoria said that she doesn’t regret putting her acting career on hold for the marriage, emphasizing the value she places on the three children they share.

She said, “I don’t regret abandoning my career for my marriage because I have three beautiful children.

My ex-husband was physically, mentally, and psychologically abusing me. When my husband hit me for the first time, I didn’t believe it, I was in shock.

“He still threatens to kill me or put me in prison to date.

I always tell myself where did I go wrong? What did I do? But then, they can bring the right package to the wrong address and there is nothing you can do about it”.
