Nigerian rapper, Tobechukwu Ejiofor, popularly known as Illbliss, has recounted battling childlessness with his wife Munachiso for eight years.
The couple’s perseverance and resilience were rewarded when they welcomed their first child, Sochikaima, in 2017.
Following this joyous moment, Illbliss and his wife were blessed with another daughter named Kachimsideh in 2020.
In a recent interview on Arise TV, the rapper said that the births of his daughters were nothing short of miraculous.
Illbliss revealed that his first daughter arrived after eight years of waiting, while his second daughter was born prematurely during the COVID-19 lockdown.
The rapper highlighted the profound impact of his children on his latest album, ‘SideKai.’ He explained that the title was derived from the combination of their names, Kachimsideh and Sochikaima.
Illbliss, a proud “girl-dad,” acknowledged the miraculous nature of his children’s arrivals, emphasizing the significance of the journey that led to their births.
He said; “I am a girl-dad. I have two beautiful daughters. Sochikaima is 6, and Kachimsideh is 3. So, my album title ‘SideKai’ was coined from their names.
“My kids came miraculously. Kaima came in after eight years of marriage. It took my wife and me a long time before we started having kids.
“Side also came during COVID-19, 2020. She came as a premature baby. So, they all came in miraculously.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Illbliss had recounted how he felt incomplete after getting married and waiting for eight years before having his first child.
