Nigerian singer, Portable has slammed popular rapper, Vector for mentioning him in his latest song.
In a video, Portable said that while he sees Vector as a mentor and superstar, the rapper dissed him in his new song.
Portable stressed that artists like Vector consider themselves pioneers of the Nigerian music industry, but he doesn’t see them that way because he believe that God is his only pioneer.
The Zazoo Zeh crooner claimed that he is a king with his own territories, and Vector should respect that.
He added that respecting Vector as a mentor doesn’t mean he should tolerate any disrespect from him.
Portable claimed he is now more popular than Vector and can attract larger crowds.
The singer also suggested that Vector has not achieved the same level of fame as him.
He further stated that Vector is just a rapper looking for a hit chorus, and should have approached him for a verse instead.
This reaction came after Vector’s song lyric, “Lion king no be zazoo,” which Portable took as a diss.
