Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko has comforted her colleague Adanma Luke, who has faced criticism over the tragic deaths of Junior Pope and five others.
KanyiDaily recalls that Adanma Luke has been facing backlash since Junior Pope and her crew members died in a boat accident while returning from a movie location.
Amid the backlash, Luke Adanma shared an emotional video on her Instagram, where she opened up about how the tragedy boat accident has deeply affected her mental health.
She expressed her sorrow, explaining that while the incident felt like a destined event, it has still taken a heavy toll on her.
Adanma was visibly heartbroken as she talked about the people who lost their lives while serving her and pleaded for public forgiveness.
The movie star insisted that the tragedy was part of God’s plan, even as she struggled with the emotional burden.
Reacting in the comment section, Destiny Etiko offered her support, acknowledging Adanma’s deep depression and expressing sympathy for her.
Destiny emphasized that the tragedy was not intentional and praised Adanma for her efforts to help the families of the deceased.
