The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Monday Okpebholo has cast his vote in the ongoing Edo State governorship election.
Monday okpebholo exercised his right at Polling Unit 1, Ward 2, located in Udomi Primary School, Irrua, Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State.
He described the voting process as well-organized and praised the electoral officials for their efficiency, especially in his ward.
It was gathered that security personnel are present to ensure a peaceful election at the polling center.
Reports indicate that electoral officers and materials arrived on time, allowing voting to start smoothly.
Today’s gubernatorial elections in Edo State involve over 2.2 million permanent voter cards that have been collected.
Meanwhile, a frustrated voter, Christopher Adoghe, has criticized INEC officials for the delays in starting accreditation and voting at Ward 1, Unit 3.
