Nigerian cross-dresser, Bobrisky has revealed he is struggling with suicidal thoughts after bribery allegations were made against him by social media influencer, VeryDarkMan.
Earlier this week, VeryDarkMan accused Bobrisky of offering N15 million bribe to Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials to have money laundering charges against him dropped, allegedly helping him avoid serving a jail sentence at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos.
In his response, Bobrisky denied the allegations claiming that he served his sentence and never bribed any EFCC officials. He also dismissed a circulating audio recording, which supposedly supported the bribery claims, calling it fake.
However, the ongoing controversy has affected Bobrisky’s mental well-being after the EFCC invited VeryDarkMan and the crossdresser over the bribery allegations against its officials.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, September 26, Bobrisky said he is contemplating suicide, feeling overwhelmed by the attempts to damage his reputation.
The crossdresser emphasized that he doesn’t want sympathy, adding that the only people he might have needed it from were his late parents.
“I have never in my life thought about suicide in my life but now is coming to my head seeing what human being are doing to their fellow human just in the name you want to bring them down by force or because you don’t like them.
“I don’t need no sympathy from anyone. People I might have need sympathy from are my late parent. But who will fight for you? Friends? Haters you won,” he wrote.
In a related development, Bobrisky has also deleted all pictures and videos from his Instagram account. A check on Thursday confirmed that his Instagram page had been cleared of content.
KanyiDaily recalls that Bobrisky had previously shared Bible verses to express his trust in God’s protection and strength during difficult times.
