Considered one of the world’s greatest entertainers ever and arguably the greatest performer alive, Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter has grown a fan base so strong and so fierce in their protection for their Queen Bey that they have turned into a whole community – a community which takes everything Beyoncé very seriously like her birthday which took place yesterday.
Beyoncé’s birthday was something akin to an international holiday as fans and organizations and celebrities all had nothing but praise and words of adoration for one of the greatest artistes the world has ever seen.
Beyoncé, being a particularly private celebrity, however was characteristically quiet for most of the day but to celebrate turning 37, the singer posted series of pictures from the past year that included her, her husband rap icon Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy and ended this with a very emotional and touching note dedicated to her fans and showing her gratitude for the amazing year she has had which has included giving birth to and breast feeding twins, performing and breaking history in the music festival Coachella, releasing one of 2018’s best hip hop album with her husband titled Everything is Love and then going on to tour the world.
‘At 36, I became a mother of three. I breastfed twins. I renewed vows with my husband of ten years. I came back home to the stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy. Then my husband and I released our album together, Everything is Love. And we’ve been touring with our whole family around the world, and loving it. This tear has been monumental for me. I thank God for everyone in my life. Thank you for all the positivity and for the beautiful birthday wishes. I’m looking forward to continuing to learn from my past, living in the present and surrendering to the future.
I love you, Hive.
