Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kogi West Senatorial candidate in Saturday’s election, Dino Melaye has announced the death of his nephew who was allegedly shot at a polling unit on Saturday, has died.
Melaye said the man, Olorunjuwon, died on Sunday morning.
Taking to his Twitter handle on Sunday, Melaye had tweeted:
“My nephew Olorunjuwon who was shot at my pooling unit yesterday died this morning. My brother your death is a Supreme sacrifice in the struggle for the liberation of our people. Rest in peace aburo… So sad.”

KanyiDaily had reported that some thugs attacked the polling unit where Dino Melaye cast his vote and hijacked the electoral materials.
The hoodlums who came in black hillux van and Honda Civic saloon car broke one of the boxes and carted away the other, shooting into the air.
