Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has taken to social media to recount how his father, Pete Edochie, who is a veteran actor, beat him mercilessly over plans to become a trader by dropping out of school at Junior Secondary 2 (JS2) level.
The actor, who shared the story on his Twitter page, said he once told his father that he’s tired of going to school and would want to quit to start up a retailing shop that sells electrical appliances.
According to him, his father simply responded by luring him inside a room, locked the door, untied his belt and gave him thorough beating that left his brain on factory reset.
“In JS2, I told my father I didn’t want to go to school anymore, he should open electrical shop for me. He said ok. He Invited me to his room, locked the door & pulled out his belt. He gave me a beating that reset my brain to factory setting. Look at me today. Thank you Dad!”
